Parlor Doughnuts in Rolling Meadows is part of a fast-growing Indiana-born chain built around one thing: layered doughnuts. Instead of classic yeast or cake dough, they're made with layers of dough and butter, producing a crisp outside and a light, flaky inside much like a croissant.
The brand was founded in Evansville, Indiana, in February 2019 by Darrick Hayden and Josh Tudela, starting as a coffee shop before adding its signature doughnuts and franchising nationwide. Growth has been fast: Parlor opened its 100th location around the start of 2026.
