Before opening their own shop here, the original owners ran Mister Donut locations starting in 1963, over a decade of donut-making before they ever put their own name on the door in this town. In 2020, they passed the shop on to their employees, the same people who'd been making the donuts all along. Whoever's behind the counter, the shop hasn't skipped a beat: still open 24 hours a day, every day, still scaling, mixing, and hand-cutting every donut the same way it always has.
